Who: Canvas Cut (Auckland, New Zealand)
The Challenge: John Botterill’s company, Canvas Cut, produces custom-tailored suits and shirts for their customers. They use Zoho CRM to keep track of their customers and orders. However, John wanted operations staff in their production facility to be able to provide updates on progress without necessitating access to CRM, and to make it as easy as possible to do so.
The Solution: John worked with Hero to build a simple tool in Zoho Creator that allows an employee to put in an order number, confirm details, and then choose the updated status from a dropdown. Creator’s mobile app enables this function from a mobile device, scanning a barcode to eliminate manual input. This was a solution that addressed the client's initial challenge of providing access to relevant information, while also making this an easy process for all!
